How to use LLP lightpainting brush?

Although it looks very complicated to shoot. In fact, it's very simple. You can learn it in one minute with the help of a tool which can create lights.

Step 1: Choose a shooting equipment (either camera or mobile phone) 

For photography, the requirements for photographic equipment are not very strict, that means you can use a mobile phone instead of a professional camera. But you need to have a tripod (just a small tripod will be fine), because of the need for long exposure. Usually, it takes 30 seconds or more to exposure.

Step 2: Setting Camera/Mobile Phone



If you choose to shoot by using your mobile phone, first of all make sure that your phone supports long exposure. Now many mobile phones have long exposure function, or light painting effect. The operation is very easy, you just need to select the appropriate function and do not need to set up anything.

If there is no such functions in your phone, choose a camera instead.  The setup of the camera is a little more complicated. The simple method is to use aperture first, set ISO to 100. According to the ambient light, the aperture receives around f6 ~ f18, the time for exposure is controlled within 30 seconds, or use Bulb model for exposure. It's best to have a Shutter Release. A wireless shutter is highly recommended. You can control the shutter time and prevent camera shaking at as well.

Step 3: Start a long exposure shooting

After all the preparation, then you shoot in an easy way. At the beginning of shooting, we need to pay attention to the following points: firstly, make sure the position of the character, turn on the light to focus him or her. Then change the automatic focus to manual focus, and turn off the light. To use the light brush to brush the face of the character slowly according to the demonstration in the video. It's so simple and no flash is needed at all.

You will never realize the pleasure of light painting unless after you play with it.
